British intelligence assessment: construction of defensive positions in Ukraine and its impact on the frontline situation

Ukraine has significantly accelerated the construction of defensive structures aimed at strengthening the front line in several directions. According to the UK military intelligence, the new fortifications include anti-tank dragon's teeth, infantry trenches, minefields and fortified defensive positions.

The expansion of the defensive lines, according to British intelligence, is intended to reduce the Russian occupation army's ability to launch an offensive. It will also make it more difficult for the enemy to exploit tactical advances within their ongoing offensive operation.

British intelligence analysis points to the grueling nature of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The strengthening of fortifications indicates that any attempt by the Russian occupiers to break through the front line will be accompanied by significant losses.
