Negotiations between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia to end the war are currently on hold, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 6, as quoted by Russian media.
According to a representative of the Russian side, the reason for the suspension of the negotiation process is the difficulty of organizing meetings in a trilateral format.
Peskov noted that the United States is currently focused on other issues, which makes holding negotiations in the Ukraine-US-Russia format difficult.
He also confirmed that the negotiation process has not been formally completed, but has been effectively suspended for an indefinite period.
No official comments from the Ukrainian or American sides regarding this statement have been made public so far.
Against this background, the prospect of resuming the active phase of negotiations remains uncertain.
