The Federation of Metallurgists of Ukraine is sounding the alarm – the mobilization must be fair. This was reported by the head of the federation, Serhiy Bilenky.
According to the expert, the metallurgical industry currently has a problem with mobilizing newly hired employees. At least two months pass from hiring a person to booking, and during this time there is a high probability that the employee will be mobilized.
“Under such conditions, there will soon be no one willing to officially get a job at our enterprises! We will lose the competition to neighboring “garages”. After all, if a person works without official employment at some car service in Zhytomyr, and is registered in Poltava, then the CCC and the SP simply do not see him”. “And if a metallurgist officially works at Zaporizhstal and is registered in the city of Zaporizhzhia, then he can easily be served with a summons just at the entrance to the enterprise”, – Bilenkyi emphasized.
He expressed hope that this issue will be resolved, perhaps through the introduction of an electronic office.
"It is not yet known how this idea will ultimately be implemented, but, in our opinion, the CCK and the SP should see all those liable for military service, not just those who came voluntarily or officially work at large enterprises. In the conditions of a major war, this would be fair," Bilenkyi summed up.
For our part, we would like to note that currently in Ukraine there is a constant reduction in the mobilization resource, and the plans set by the authorities for the military enlistment offices to recruit "bayonets" are actually being thwarted. The rush to recruit people provokes a protest in society, which is already fed up with the arbitrariness of the TCK officers, who have discredited the very idea of mobilization with their actions.
