Ukrainian General Valeriy Zaluzhny has been recommended for study in the IDF, reports the Israeli military magazine "Maarahot".
According to information received from the Israeli military magazine "Maarahot", the work of Ukrainian General Valeriy Zaluzhny is recommended for study in the IDF. This step indicates recognition of the importance and value of the military experience and strategic abilities of the Ukrainian military.
A new issue of the Israel Defense Forces magazine examines his idea that the modern battlefield is so saturated with intelligence and surveillance that it is impossible to concentrate forces without being noticed by the enemy. Accordingly, achieving the effect of surprise and superiority in forces becomes extremely difficult.
The magazine also has three articles on the Ukrainian-Russian military conflict. One of the conclusions is that the war in Ukraine has destroyed many concepts that prevailed until 2022, including the concept of a conscript-based army and a small, smart army.
The authors urge Western military theorists to be more modest in their predictions and visions of the future, as real war shows that many predictions do not come true.
