The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is working to ensure that the CCC has the ability to send referrals to the military medical commission electronically through the Reserve+ application.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chornohorenko.
According to her, in the near future, Reserve+ will have the opportunity for a person to generate a referral for a VLK, if they so desire.
There is no function for the CCC to send a referral to the VLK via Reserve+ on its own initiative yet. However, according to Chornohorenko, an analysis of such a possibility is currently underway.
"We are currently analyzing, consulting with the Ministry of Health, our partners, and the General Staff. We will announce specific dates in the near future," said Chornohorenko.
It should be noted that sending out referrals to the VLK in electronic form is a very important point. Because only after passing the VLK can a person be mobilized (if he has not previously passed the commission). Therefore, if the CCC becomes able to send referrals to the VLK through Reserve+, this can dramatically increase mobilization. Because there will be a fairly simple and quick scheme: a person updates his data through “Reserve+”, the CCC checks whether he has already passed the VLK. And if not, then they immediately send him a referral, conduct the VLK, and then issue a mobilization (combat) summons.
On the other hand, this will be an additional argument not to update their data for those who do not want to serve.
According to Chornohorenko, 1.7 million Ukrainians have already updated their data through Reserve+. At the same time, Ukrainians abroad, as before, are in no hurry to do this. So far, only 26 thousand people abroad have updated their data.
