The Ministry of Defense asks to release doctors for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has begun consultations with regional health departments to form lists of medical workers who can be released for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is stated in an official statement of the Ministry of Health.

The ministry noted that the request to release the medics came from the Ministry of Defense and the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"To meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense sector in medical personnel, a mechanism has been developed for decommissioning individual medical personnel who are in need," the Ministry of Health reported.

Currently, ministry specialists are conducting consultations in cooperation with regional health departments to form preliminary lists of candidates for de-reservation.

The procedure involves coordination between civilian and military medical management, and final decisions will be made based on a real request from the defense department.

The Ministry of Health did not specify how many doctors can currently be included in such lists and when the process will be completed.
