The emergence of the E-queue system is a response to new requirements that arose as a result of the adoption of the new mobilization law.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is actively implementing the digital transformation of most services provided by the Territorial Personnel Centers and the Conscription Services. After the announcement of the launch of an electronic office for those liable for military service, it became known that the Ministry of Defense will also introduce an “electronic queue” for applications to these centers. This system will be operational in the near future.
This was announced by Kateryna Chornohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, in an interview with Radio Liberty. She emphasized that the introduction of such a tool is a response to current challenges, in particular, to large queues in front of Territorial Personnel Support Centers.
“I believe that in the near future we will be able to introduce an electronic queue for visiting the Territorial Personnel Centers and Conscription Services. I think this will happen quite quickly. At least, the Ministry of Defense team is already working on this,” Chornohorenko noted.
The Deputy Minister also added that before introducing the electronic queue, consultations will be held with specialists from the Territorial Personnel Centers and the Conscription Services to ensure that the system is convenient for both parties.
To speed up the process of updating the data of Ukrainian citizens liable for military service, an E-cabinet will be introduced, which will become available from May 18 of this year. It is known that this tool will be available to everyone. It involves downloading a mobile application, authorization in the E-cabinet and filling in the necessary data. However, it is worth noting that the sending of summonses through this program is not provided, and registration in it is voluntary, not mandatory.
