Law enforcement officers have detained a man involved in the rape of teenagers in Kyiv.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office. The suspect faces up to 12 years in prison.

“It was established that the man invited two boys, 14 and 15 years old, to his mother’s apartment, where no one lives, supposedly offering to treat them to beer. However, there he gave the teenagers vodka to drink, showed them a pornographic video, and raped them. Only a day later did the boys tell their parents about it, who contacted law enforcement,” the press service said.

The perpetrator was detained - he turned out to be a 42-year-old resident of Kyiv. He was informed of the suspicion of raping two teenagers. The court chose a preventive measure for the man in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the possibility of posting bail.
