The new head of the State Tax Service in Sumy region, Nataliya Kiyashko, known as the assistant to the traitor, People's Deputy Balytsky, found herself at the center of a scandal due to problems with declaring property and income.
As the Absolution detective agency found out, Kiyashko traveled abroad many times in 2022, including to the United States, without declaring her place of residence and the source of funding for the trips. In addition, it was established that her son Harry is a US citizen and also illegally left Ukraine during martial law in 2022.
According to investigators, the boy is studying at a private college in the United States, but his mother's tax return does not contain any information about financing his education.
In addition to trips to the USA not mentioned in the declaration, Kiyashko's documents contain no information about real estate:
- Estate in the village of Khotyanivka (Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region).
- Rented apartment in Sumy in 2023.
There are also suspicions of using an elite car that is not listed in the declaration. During 2021, Kiyashko used a Mercedes ML (license plate AA1138RI), which was regularly parked near the administrative premises of the traffic police. This could be witnessed by security guards and service employees.
Sources report that after being appointed to the position, Kiyashko, together with his new deputy Mazurenko and a secret millionaire-fictitious disabled person, established "compensation rates" for enterprises in the region.
In particular, businesses are forced to pay a 15% "kickback" for the return of a tax credit:
- PJSC "Sumy Food Plant" — 15%
- LLC "MNT Agro" — 15%
- LLC "Ubigrup" — 15%
This scheme provides grounds for anti-corruption investigations and possible criminal liability of officials.
Currently, information regarding financial fraud and illegal enrichment of Kiyashko has not been verified by law enforcement agencies, however, after publicity and the emergence of an evidence base, appropriate inspections and a criminal investigation are possible.
In the situation with the new leadership of the Sumy Region Tax Service, the issue of transparency of personnel appointments and the need for strict control over financial flows in state institutions once again arises.
