The newly appointed head of the South-Eastern Interregional Territorial Department of ARMA (Dnipro), Oleksandr Vedmidsky, declared significant assets, including investments in government bonds, real estate, and cash.
According to data released by the ABSOLUTION detective agency, in 2024, Vedmidsky purchased domestic government loan bonds worth UAH 936,000.
The official's family also owns real estate with a total value of over UAH 1.29 million. Since 2019, Vedmidsky himself has had an apartment in Dnipro with an area of 57.4 m² and a land plot in the village of Babaykivka (5,500 m²) for UAH 32,000. His wife, Olena Vedmidska, declares plots in the villages of Doslidne (66 m²) and Obukhivka (1,200 m²).
In 2022, Olena Vedmidska, together with Svitlana Krasnikova, became the owner of an apartment in Dnipro with an area of 57.7 m², and in June 2023, she purchased non-residential premises in the same city with an area of 32.7 m² for UAH 1.27 million.
The declaration also lists a 2021 Subaru Forester, which the official valued at UAH 332.6 thousand.
As for income, in 2024, Vedmidsky received UAH 226.5 thousand in pension, UAH 29 thousand in salary from ARMA, and UAH 37 thousand from Krevus LLC. His wife declared a pension of UAH 121.7 thousand.
In addition, the family holds $30,000 and UAH 351,000 in cash.
Interestingly, another high-ranking official, Interior Ministry employee Roman Batsits, recently found himself at the center of a scandal after his wife's apartment in Brovary was found in his declaration, the value of which was at least 10–15 times lower than the market value.
