In the Zaporizhia direction, there is an active replacement of the occupying forces' units, which indicates their preparation for possible assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the battalion commander of the 31st separate mechanized brigade "Riddick" on the air of "Kyiv24".
Operational activity of the enemy
According to the commander, in the last two weeks it has become noticeable that the enemy is increasing its forces on the front line. “The enemy is constantly moving from position to position, taking measures to increase its numbers on the front,” he noted. The defense forces, in turn, are actively detecting these movements using aerial reconnaissance and inflicting fire damage on the enemy concentration.
"These movements indicate that the enemy is probably preparing for assault operations. Their professional level has increased significantly, which indicates the seriousness of their intentions," the military officer emphasized.
The situation in Zaporizhia
Against the backdrop of these events, Dmitry Lykhoviy, spokesman for the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, previously noted that at the end of August, the invaders transferred some of their personnel to other areas, in particular to the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This led to a certain stabilization of the situation in part of southern Ukraine.
However, despite this, shelling of Zaporizhia continues almost daily. On September 23, the occupying forces struck a residential building, killing one person and wounding five others. These attacks highlight the ongoing threat to the civilian population of the region.
