According to the Ukrainian analytical monitoring project DeepState, the situation in the Donetsk region remains tense. Pokrovsk is not surrounded, but infiltration of Russian invaders is being recorded in the city. The enemy is trying to gain a foothold in key points, pulling in mortars and pilot crews to support the infantry, which complicates the advancement of Ukrainian troops and logistics.
At the same time, Myrnograd is under threat of operational encirclement with the seizure of all logistics routes. The situation is especially difficult on the eastern outskirts of the city, where the occupiers are carrying out assault operations in the Novoekonomichne–Mykolaivka–Myrolyubivka–Kozatske area. Fighters note that movement through the city has become virtually impossible due to the danger of ambushes and mining.
Analysts emphasize that Pokrovsk is key to holding Myrnograd. If the enemy gains a foothold here, providing the city with logistics will become critically difficult. For the defense of Myrnograd, it is important to control the surrounding settlements, in particular Rivne, where the enemy is accumulating forces and preparing ambushes.
Ukrainian Defense Forces fighters are trying to contain the onslaught, but without proper access to supplies, the situation could quickly become complicated.
