In the Odessa region, a man stole a company car while employees of the territorial recruitment and social support center (TCK and SP) were waiting and took their documents from the cabin. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.
According to law enforcement, the 43-year-old citizen was supposed to go for a medical examination. Unexpectedly for everyone, he got into the front seat of a company car and drove off, despite the presence of the driver, who planned to take him to the LCC.
The attacker left the car on the outskirts of the settlement, then went home, grabbing the driver's bag with important personal documents. The police quickly found the man and seized other people's belongings from him.
The man admitted that he acted spontaneously, without preparing for the crime. He was informed of suspicion of illegal possession of a vehicle and important personal documents. Such actions are punishable by up to five years in prison.
The court chose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
