Businessman and co-owner of Kvartal 95 LLC Timur Mindich, who is a suspect in a large-scale corruption case, is trying to regain control over his property. As Glavkom reports, on November 24, his lawyer filed an appeal with the Appellate Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court demanding the cancellation of the seizure of real estate. It is currently unknown when the court will consider this document.
According to the data of the "Judicial Authority of Ukraine" and the analytical system YouControl, three apartments of Mindich in the capital are under arrest. Two of them are in a residential complex on Mykhayla Hrushevskoho Street, 9a. Their total area is 736.6 sq. m. Another apartment is located on Tsaryka Hryhoriya Street, 3 (former Ipodromny Lane).
In addition, two apartments in Dnipro, located at 7 Sviatoslav Khorobryho Street, were seized.
According to the investigation, Timur Mindich is the organizer and leader of a criminal organization, involved in money laundering and illegal influence on members of the Cabinet of Ministers. On November 22, the businessman was put on the wanted list.
While lawyers are trying to appeal the seizure of property, NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors are continuing the investigation, which could become one of the most high-profile anti-corruption trials this year.
