Famous presenter Masha Efrosinina, who recently stunned the Internet with gorgeous photos of her slender legs, shared an unexpected story from her youth. It turned out that she once auditioned for… legs — for the legendary music video of the band “Okean Elzy” “Where We Are Not” .
This video, shot in 1998 by director Semen Gorov, was the first official music video for the cult Ukrainian band. At the time, Efrosinina was just starting her career and, as she admitted, she hoped to get into the video, at least in a shot of her legs.
“I went to the casting for the legs for the video “Where We Are Not”. And the director didn’t like my legs. I didn’t pass. Can you imagine? — laughs Masha. — But now I can proudly say: I auditioned for the role of legs in “Elsa’s Ocean”!”
Efrosinina also recalled the first time she saw the band live, when she was working as a host of the morning show "Pidyom .
"When they first appeared on the air, they were very shy. Everyone. Imagine these guys like that — they didn't know where to put themselves," she said.
The presenter also recalled the events of 2004, when she and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk participated in the Orange Revolution. After the protests, they would return to her house, warm themselves with wine, and that's when they began a true friendship.
