People's Deputy Fedienko told how the deferral will now be processed

People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Fedienko dispelled rumors about the alleged cancellation of deferrals from mobilization and urged Ukrainians not to succumb to the manipulations of lawyers on social networks. According to him, no changes have been made to the legislation regarding deferrals, and all existing norms continue to operate.

Fedienko noted that in recent weeks, a large number of lawyers have become active on social media, publishing posts about "another betrayal" and stating that deferrals supposedly no longer work. The purpose of these messages, according to the politician, is to confuse Ukrainians so that they seek paid consultations.

" Society demanded reforms in territorial recruitment and social support centers, and the fight against corruption. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, are trying to digitize everything as much as possible. All the deferrals listed in the law on mobilization are still in place! That is, no legislative changes were made to these norms ," the people's deputy emphasized.

According to Fedienko, the main change concerns the digitalization of processes. Previously, citizens who were entitled to a deferral were forced to personally come to the territorial procurement center (TCK) every three months and bring a certificate to confirm this right.

The reason is the lack of interaction between state registries. As a result, the Ministry of Defense did not have access to the databases of other agencies and could not automatically check the status of a person.

" Now everything has become simpler. If you are in this register, you no longer need to go anywhere - the systems work together and will automatically pull this information into your personal account. Yes, I do not exclude that there may be technical failures, or some information may not match. And then you will really have to come to the ASN once with an application to confirm that everything is fine with you ," the politician explained.

The Ministry of Defense, together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, continues to modernize the military registration, deferral, and border crossing systems. Most processes are planned to be fully digitalized to minimize corruption risks and reduce the burden on citizens.

Thus, starting November 1, Ukrainians who have a legal deferment from mobilization need not worry — their rights remain valid, and confirmation of status will occur automatically through integrated state systems.
