The British Geological Survey reports that a new magnetic storm will cover the Earth in the coming days.
During September 12 and 13, the geomagnetic situation will remain calm - the speed of the solar wind has returned to background levels. However, on September 14, the situation will change: a high-speed stream from a large coronal hole on the Sun will reach our planet.
According to the forecast, geomagnetic activity is expected to increase on September 14 and 15. A weak magnetic storm of the G1 level is likely. These data are also confirmed by the specialists of “Meteoagent”: there will be no significant fluctuations on September 13, but the very next day the magnetic voltage will increase sharply.
Magnetic storms and their effects on health
During periods of geomagnetic disturbances, many people complain of headaches, increased fatigue, pressure drops, or insomnia. It is impossible to completely avoid the effects of storms, but doctors advise following simple rules:
-
go to bed and wake up at the usual time;
-
drink more clean water and limit coffee, strong tea and alcohol;
-
choose light food - vegetables, fruits, cereals and fish;
-
avoid overwork and stress, reduce physical activity if possible;
-
Go for short walks in the fresh air or do light exercises.
Experts emphasize that even a mild storm can affect the well-being of weather-dependent people, so it is worth listening carefully to your body and, if necessary, consulting a doctor.
