Despite a number of high-profile corruption scandals and information about informal contacts with the enemy, Larisa Rodchenko (Usachenko) continues to successfully advance in her career at the Ministry of Defense and was appointed chief specialist for reintegration and post-isolation support of the Psychological Support Department.
This is reported by the publication 360ua.news.
This time, Larisa Rodcheko found a patron in the person of Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Moysiuk, who is considered one of the contenders to replace Oleksandr Syrsky.
The need for a new “high patron” in the person of Yevhen Moysiuk for Larisa Rodchenko is obvious, because Rodchenko is preparing to “appropriate” about two billion hryvnias of budget money for psychological assistance next year..
At the same time, according to the source, some high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Defense, who can be conditionally attributed to "Denys Shmyhal's people," are extremely surprised by Larisa Rodchenko's career growth and are concerned about possible reputational risks associated with Larisa Rodchenko's criminal past.
Let us remind you that Larisa Rodchenko is better known to the general public as Larisa Usachenko, or, as she was nicknamed in the Verkhovna Rada, “Golden Fish”.
Larisa Usachenko-Rodchenko is a former MP from Viktor Yushchenko's team, and is currently the subject of numerous accusations of fraud on a particularly large scale.
Larisa Usachenko-Rodchenko is involved in bringing the state agricultural holding company “Pushcha Voditsa” to bankruptcy and embezzling its land fund – the land of which was used for a multi-storey building on Sofiivska Borshchahivka through fraudulent schemes. According to journalists, Larisa Usachenko received 6 million US dollars for bringing the state agricultural holding company to bankruptcy and dealing with its land.
There are also objective suspicions of Larisa Rodchenko's involvement in the theft of land from the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, to conceal which an arson attack was organized in the main building of the university .
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine, Larisa Usachenko-Rodchenko changed her vyshyvanka to a military uniform and began embezzling military budgets.

To begin with, Larisa Rodchenko received the rank of Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in less than 3 years, which is not such a difficult task for a con artist of her level (it is enough to recall the scandal with Larisa Rodchenko-Usachenko buying the title of “professor” in Lviv).
According to media , Larisa Rodchenko entered the Ministry of Defense system through the hospital of the National Military Medical Center "GVKG". All this happened with the tacit consent or active participation of key figures in the medical command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The most notable among them is Major General of the Medical Service Anatoliy Kazmirchuk - the current head of the Military Medical Service of Ukraine. It was during his leadership and the "rapid reform" of the medical vertical that people like Usachenko-Rodchenko received the green light: ranks, injuries, awards - everything was issued with lightning speed.
At the same time, the clinic was filled with Larisa Rodchenko's relatives: her husband, brother, son-in-law, nephew, even a daughter-in-law with a purchased diploma. All of them were military personnel, all of them had a UBD certificate, some of them had disabilities and received benefits. All of them were under the "roof" of the psychiatric ward.
According to media reports, the head of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Anatoly Petrovich Kazmirchuk, directly facilitated Rodchenko's scams to employ all of her relatives with fake diplomas.
Thus, Larisa Rodchenko's husband received a military service certificate, a disability group, and cash payments for 3 months of service. Her brother was employed in a clinic and dismissed due to illness. Her son-in-law and nephew were transferred to rear units in Transcarpathia. Her daughter-in-law, Yana Velhan, received the position of military psychologist without proper education, and then the status of a military service certificate while on maternity leave.
All of Larisa Rodchenko's relatives named above received state awards, titles, and UBD statuses.
Let's look at the career growth of Larisa Usachenko-Rodchenko and her family in military service:
– January 2022
She appears at the military hospital of the National Military Medical Center "GVKG" as a nurse.
– February 2022
The beginning of a full-scale war is already within the system.
– February 2023
Receives the rank of lieutenant.
– April 2024
Receives the rank of captain of the medical service.
– 2024
Director of the psychiatric center, Tetyana Ponomarenko, resigns after searches.
– May 2024
It covers up the abdominal wounds — actually scars from plastic surgery.
– March 2025
Receives the rank of major.
– April 2025
The state pays UAH 700,000 in compensation for a tummy tuck, which Rodchenko claims is a “battle wound.”
– During 2023–2025
Relatives are registered in psychiatry as military personnel: husband, brother, son-in-law, nephew, daughter-in-law. Some receive UBD status, others receive disability and benefits.
Separately, it is worth noting the high-profile case of the arrest of the chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druz.
According to our sources, it was Larisa Rodchenko who was behind the organization of the schemes in which the former chief psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Druz, is accused.
“For experienced con artist Larisa Rodchenko, Oleg Druzy’s candidacy as a scapegoat was ideal, because he had previously appeared in corruption scandals. Strictly speaking, Druzy has problems because of corruption schemes built by Rodchenko,” the source notes.
A complement to the portrait of Larisa Rodchenko should be her “informal contacts” with Russians, which have become the subject of research by Ukrainian media.
Thus, according to the publication Nasha VERSIYA , Larisa Rodchenko repeatedly visited the front line in the Kherson region, allegedly covering it up with official business. At the same time, witnesses claim that the purpose of these trips was to contact business partners who remained in the temporarily occupied territory.
This version is confirmed by documents, including extracts from state registers for land owned by her relatives or companies associated with her and located in the occupation zone.
Moreover, according to Rodchenko’s colleagues, she openly said that she “crossed to the other side,” meaning crossing the front line to meet with people who remained under Russian control. This raises the natural question: were these contacts authorized by the command or the Security Service of Ukraine?
Of particular interest is the story of Rodchenko's mother, who, despite her status as a resident of the temporarily occupied territory, somehow managed to freely enter the territory controlled by Ukraine. No public explanation has been given for this fact. In the context of the national policy towards IDPs and the risks of espionage, such "mobility" looks extremely suspicious.
Recall, we previously wrote that Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Moysiuk instructed his subordinates to "collect and systematize information about all the failed decisions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky and his henchmen, with the aim of taking his place."
