The prosecutor's office sent a case to the court against the former managers of "Inform-Resources" due to losses of UAH 187 million

The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office (SAP) sent a case to the court against the former director of the state enterprise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Inform-Resources" Yuhannan Babayev and his former deputy Vadym Matlayev, accused of causing damages to the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the amount of UAH 187 million.

This was reported by the SAP press service, without disclosing the names of those involved in the case.

According to information, it is about Babaev and Matlayev, who were previously declared wanted.

"On June 14, 2024, the prosecutor of the SAP, based on the materials of the NABU pre-trial investigation, sent an indictment to the court against the former director and deputy director of the state enterprise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Inform-Resursy", whose abuse during the expropriation of the premises caused the state enterprise losses of UAH 187 million" , - reports the prosecutor's office.

We will remind that NABU and SAP reported the suspicion to Yuhannan Babaev, the former director of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Inform-Resources" and three other persons. According to the investigation, during 2018-2019 the ex-director of the state-owned enterprise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Inform-Resources" Babaev, abusing his official position, according to a previous conspiracy with three persons for selfish motives, took possession of funds in the amount of UAH 16.69 million by transferring them to the accounts of the LLC "Kossad Research", LLC "Lakins" and LLC "Dunkers".

These funds were received from the sale of the above-mentioned objects. The three suspects in this case made a deal with the investigation, which was approved by the High Anti-Corruption Court. Later, NABU and SAP informed the ex-director of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Inform-Resursy" and his deputy about the new suspicion. The anti-corruption prosecutor's office ended the pre-trial investigation with an appeal to the court with an indictment against two persons.
