Contrasting weather is expected in Ukraine on Thursday, September 18. Rain will leave the western and most northern regions, moving to the east and south of the country. At the same time, precipitation is also forecast in most central regions and in places in the north.
The daytime air temperature in most regions will be +16°…+20°.
In Kyiv, on September 18, weather forecasters predict cloudy weather with clearings, no precipitation. The temperature will be +9° at night, and up to +19° during the day.
In the west of the country it will be relatively dry: in Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk +7°…+8° at night and up to +19°…+20° during the day are expected. In Chernivtsi there will also be no rain, the temperature will be within +8°…+19°. The warmest in Transcarpathia is in Uzhhorod up to +19° with a practically cloudless sky.
In the north of the country, it will be cloudy with clearings in Zhytomyr (+9°…+19°), but rain is possible in Chernihiv (+9°…+18°).
Precipitation is expected in most cities in the center. In Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi and Poltava it will rain, the temperature will range from +10° to +18°. In Vinnytsia no precipitation is forecast, in the afternoon it will be +18°.
In the south, it will be cloudy with rain. In Odessa, the temperature will reach +21°, in Mykolaiv +20°, in Kherson +19°, in Zaporizhia +17°.
In the east, it will also be rainy: in Kharkiv +10°…+17°, in Dnipro +11°…+18°, in Sumy +10°…+18°. Relatively warm weather is expected in frontline cities: in Kramatorsk +14° at night and +21° during the day, in Severodonetsk – +13°…+21°.
In Crimea, in particular in Simferopol, cloudy rainy weather is forecast with a temperature of +14°…+18°.
Thus, on Wednesday, Ukraine will be divided into a dry west and a rainy east and south. Maximum temperatures will remain within +20°…+21°, but nighttime coolness will drop to +7° in places.
