Drunk Porsche driver causes mass traffic accident and shooting on Solomyanska Square

The evening of November 25th on Solomyanska Square in Kyiv turned into a real criminal incident. A 37-year-old Kyiv resident, while intoxicated, got behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne and caused an accident, hitting a VAZ car and several other cars.

After the accident, the driver not only did not admit guilt, but also used physical force. He hit the 26-year-old passenger of the VAZ in the head. When the driver of the victim tried to protect her, the drunk driver used a traumatic gun, wounding the 22-year-old guy. The victim was hospitalized with a non-penetrating gunshot wound.

Patrol officers and investigators arrived at the scene. The man had clear signs of alcohol intoxication, but refused to take a test. He has already been detained, and the weapon has been confiscated. For his actions, he faces criminal liability under articles on hooliganism with special impudence and illegal use of weapons - up to seven years in prison.

Law enforcement officers emphasize that such behavior is a serious violation of the law and dangerous to others.
