In temporarily occupied Mariupol, new markings have been spotted on military trucks, which resemble the tactical markings of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryuschenko, trucks moving from the territory of the transit base along Taganrogska Street to the Rozivskyi district of Zaporizhia region were spotted with markings in the form of a triangle, which exactly repeats the markings of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.
These trucks, which were transporting personnel and ammunition, were moving in a column of seven vehicles without an open escort. It is still unknown why the occupiers decided to use such markings and what their purpose was. However, Andryuschenko noted that this could be part of a strategy aimed at misleading Ukrainian forces and disorienting them on the front, in particular in the Vuhledar area.
In particular, the situation with marking may indicate new tactical maneuvers by the occupiers, seeking to misinform Ukrainian forces or create the appearance of increasing their own military presence. This raises serious questions about the enemy's possible plans and requires additional attention from the Ukrainian military and intelligence services.
The scale and purpose of such markings still remain a mystery, but this case clearly indicates possible changes in the tactics of the Russian occupation forces. Ukrainian troops must be prepared for any surprises and actively monitor the situation in order to adequately respond to potential threats.
