The situation on the frontline in Zaporizhia region has once again escalated. Konstantin Denisov, spokesman for the Legion of Freedom, reported a new wave of Russian offensives in the region, noting the activation of Russian troops and a significant reinforcement of reserves.
According to Denisov, after a period of relative calm, Russian troops significantly intensified their attacks.
"In our region (Zaporizhia) on the front line, the Russians have intensified their attacks. They have pulled up reserves and launched a new offensive, trying to restore their positions after previous losses," Denisov noted. It was noted that the activity of Russian artillery and aviation has increased, in particular, strikes on communities located on the front line were recorded. This indicates attempts by Russian forces to expand their positions and create more comfortable conditions for further attacks.
Denisov also noted that Russian forces are aiming to advance to the administrative borders of the Zaporizhia region. “Russian aviation is a major threat to the Zaporizhia region, as well as the fact that equipment, ammunition and personnel are constantly being supplied through the land corridor from Crimea to Rostov. New militants are being trained and recruited, who may later be involved in attacks,” the Freedom Legion spokesman said.
The activation of Russian troops and their offensive actions indicate a growing threat to the Zaporizhia region. Against this background, the Ukrainian military and local communities continue to fight to maintain control over the territory and resist new challenges from the aggressor.
