In Dnipro, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed another agent of Russian special services. The woman spied on the movements of Ukrainian military echelons using a hidden camera mounted in a mock birdhouse.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
According to the investigation, a 46-year-old resident of Dnipro set up a video trap near a railway track. Under the guise of a birdhouse, she mounted a camera with additional power, which transmitted images of the movement of military trains in real time.
This equipment allowed the occupiers to track the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment and personnel to the front, which could have catastrophic consequences for Ukrainian defense.
In addition to monitoring the trains, the Russian agent also transmitted the coordinates of mobile air defense fire groups to the enemy. She toured front-line areas, recorded the location of Ukrainian positions, and sent information via encrypted messengers.
The traitor turned out to be a woman who was looking for "easy money" through pro-Russian Telegram channels. It was there that she was recruited by Russian curators. After completing the "tasks", she was supposed to receive payment.
During the search, the spy's camera, phones, data carriers, and a SIM card containing evidence of treason were seized.
The woman has already been charged under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - high treason committed under martial law. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
She is currently in custody. The operation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office.
