The Security Service of Ukraine has detained an FSB agent who was working undercover as an accountant at a local factory. According to law enforcement, the detained woman was responsible for adjusting the coordinates for missile strikes on Odessa.
As indicated by the SBU, to adjust the air attacks, the Russian special service remotely recruited an accountant from a local factory, who came to the attention of the aggressor due to her anti-Ukrainian posts on Telegram.
Of particular interest to the enemy were the locations of checkpoints with armored vehicles and mobile air defense fire groups.
At the occupier's direction, the agent traveled around the city on public transport and recorded on video the locations of the Ukrainian defenders.
After reconnaissance sorties, the woman made a report for the FSB, including plotting the information on a Google map.
The woman was detained at the final stage of her special operation. During searches in her apartment, a mobile phone was found with evidence of her intelligence and subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation. In particular, regarding the covert photo and video recording of Defense Forces facilities and communication with the FSB.
Investigators of the Security Service informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The perpetrator is currently being held without bail. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
