Yesterday evening, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) conducted investigative actions on the commander of the 211th Pontoon-Bridge Brigade of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Oleg Poberezhnyuk. This was reported by sources in law enforcement agencies.
It is noted that a search was conducted at the residence of the brigade commander of the 211th brigade. According to the investigation, from February to July 2024, Poberezhnyuk, knowing for sure about the facts of torture and other inhuman treatment by a subordinate officer (Vladislav Pastukh - UNIAN) towards servicemen, did not react in any way.
According to the UP, a report of suspicion is being prepared for the brigade commander under Part 4 of Article 426 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - inaction of military authorities committed under martial law.

As UNIAN reported, journalists found out about large-scale problems in the 211th Pontoon-Bridge Brigade of the Armed Forces Support Forces of Ukraine. It was noted that commanders mock subordinates, demand money, use violence, tie them to a wooden cross, etc.
People's Deputy of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Temporary Investigative Commission on Investigation of Possible Violations of Ukrainian Legislation in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yulia Yatsyk, said that in the 211th Brigade, servicemen who abused alcohol were stripped naked and thrown into pits to sober up.
