The second “peace summit” planned for November will not take place, said Dariya Zarivna, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. She emphasized that although the summit will not take place on schedule, all preparatory work must be completed.
Zarivna clarified that thematic conferences are currently underway, dedicated to each point of the peace formula, which will end with the adoption of a communiqué. The main provisions of these communiqués are planned to be used as the basis for the future peace plan of the second summit. “The second 'peace summit' will not take place in November. But everything for its preparation should already be ready,” the adviser noted.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly expressed his desire to end the war following the results of the second “peace summit.” Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities announced their intention to hold this event in November, hoping for the participation of Russian representatives.
