Singer MELOVIN: "I ran from the deputy all over the hall. It was scary"

Ukrainian singer MELOVIN shared a shocking story from his career - at the beginning of his creative path, he was chased by a deputy during a concert. The artist admitted that at that time he literally ran away from the man across the hall, and later experienced a series of threats after his coming out.

Ukrainian singer MELOVIN, who in recent years has attracted attention not only with his music but also with his openness about his life, has spoken about a terrifying incident from the beginning of his career. According to the artist, he was harassed by a deputy during one of his concerts.

" At the beginning of my career, a deputy chased me during one of the concerts. I ran from him all over the hall. It was wild and scary. After all, back then I didn't know what personal security was ," MELOVIN wrote in Threads.

The artist admitted that this incident was one of the first warning signs in his professional life. Over time, as his popularity grew, so did the pressure and negative reactions from society.

Coming out about his bisexuality was a particularly difficult period for him. The artist openly says that after that he faced a wave of hate, threats, and canceled concerts.

" Coming out as bisexual was the biggest shock for me. When it all started, I was drowning in so much alcohol... Threats, concert cancellations, and guys in balaclavas with banners ," the singer shared.

MELOVIN admits that this period was a serious test, but at the same time it taught him to be stronger and not hide himself. His story is another reminder of how many internal and external barriers Ukrainian artists have to overcome in order to remain sincere with their audience.
