Singer Wellboy said he is ready to mobilize and has no plans to flee Ukraine

Ukrainian singer Anton Velboy, known by his stage name Wellboy, recently turned 25 and officially became a military conscript. In an interview with OBOZ.UA, the artist shared that he does not have any benefits or protection from service, so he could receive a summons at any time.

According to the performer, if this happens, he does not plan to leave the country, but is ready to comply with the requirements of current legislation.

I haven’t received any summonses yet, and I haven’t been stopped on the street. I only recently reached that age. If I am served with a summons or stopped for inspection, I will, of course, comply with all the requirements of the current legislation ,” Wellboy noted.

At the same time, the singer said that he had not yet undergone military training, but admitted that he wanted to do so in the future. He humorously added that he had recently gained some weight:

Many people do it for themselves, but I haven't had time yet. Besides, I've gained a little weight now, I've become like a meatball“.

Recall that Wellboy previously spoke publicly about mental health problems, in particular addictions, due to which he underwent rehabilitation in a psychiatric clinic.

The artist emphasizes that despite all personal difficulties, he is ready to join the ranks of Ukraine's defenders if necessary.
