On December 16, 2023, the State Service of Special Communications of Ukraine issued an order to block certain Internet resources.

The following resources were added to the list of banned domain names:
- Skelet.Info: This site publishes dossiers, biographies, and compromising material on Ukrainian officials, businessmen, and politicians. The Fake Ukraine Registry describes it as an “incriminating dossier catalog” that publishes fabricated materials on active Ukrainian citizens.
- Politeka: This is an online news resource that, according to monitoring by the Institute of Mass Information (IMI), violates journalistic standards. Research indicates that Politeka actively promotes “good Russians” on Ukrainian YouTube.
- Golos.UA: This news agency, owned by Petro Symonenko’s wife, Oksana Vashchenko, is considered to be operating abroad. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it created “pro-Ukrainian content.”
- UOJ (Union of Orthodox Journalists): This is a news resource about Orthodoxy in Ukraine and the world. It has been accused of quoting statements by hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church who approve of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
- BEZCENSOR: This is an alternative news source that has been associated with the spread of fake news such as “Biden: Zelensky deceived me and will soon pay for it.”
- UKRRUDPROM: This information and analytical portal has a co-founder, the famous Ukrainian cybersquatter Oleg Bogatov.
- STINA, Accents, UA Reporter, MRIYA, From.ua: These resources were also included in the list of banned ones, but specific details about them were not provided.
This solution is designed to prevent the spread of misinformation and other negative influences on the Internet.
