A new wave of bad weather with rain, snow, and strong winds will hit Ukraine at the end of the week, on Saturday, January 11. The most difficult weather situation is expected in the south and east of the country, while in the northern and central regions the weather will be more stable, with clearings and no significant precipitation.
According to weather forecasters, cloudy and cold weather will prevail in western Ukraine throughout the day. Light snow is expected, and the air temperature will drop to -9...-12 degrees.
In the northern regions, it will be cloudy with clearings, without precipitation, but frosts will remain noticeable. During the day, the temperature here will fluctuate within -10...-12 degrees.
Eastern Ukraine will be under the influence of humid and cold air. In Donetsk and Luhansk regions, snow with rain is forecast at temperatures from -2 to +2 degrees. In Kharkiv region, snow and colder air is expected - from -3 to -5 degrees.
In the central regions of the country, frost will persist - from -8 to -13 degrees. The weather will be cloudy with clearings, and snow is possible in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The most unpleasant conditions will be in the south of Ukraine. Wet snow, rain, strong winds and icy roads are forecast here. The air temperature will drop to -8…-10 degrees, while it will be slightly warmer in Crimea, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
Forecasters are urging drivers and pedestrians to be careful due to difficult weather conditions and possible ice.
