After more than two years of a full -scale war, more and more Ukrainian women decide to leave the country - not only temporarily, but forever. This is stated in the article of the British edition of The Telegraph , which describes the alarming tendency of disappearance of young people from Ukraine.
The reasons for the departure are constant shelling, anxiety for the future, the uncertainty of the country's recovery and the search for better opportunities abroad. Many girls who have not even considered emigration before the war are now making a life in Europe, entering universities, starting working, building new social ties. Only a few return.
“Among those who left are the smartest, most talented, most promising. This is a real demographic bomb of slow action, ”the newspaper notes. In the long run, it questioned not only the process of restoration of Ukraine, but also its ability to develop.
"When the war began, people were enthusiastic," says high school students Sofia. “But time has passed, and people became depressed. They think that they will be better in another country. "
