The Third Separate Assault Brigade is campaigning among prisoners to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The move is part of a strategy to attract new recruits to the army and strengthen the country's military potential.
This was reported by the commander of the 2nd assault battalion, Dmytro Kukharchuk.
“The most inspiring thing is when the entire prison responds to your “Glory to Ukraine!” with: “Glory to the heroes!”,” he writes about his first experience visiting prisons.
As a reminder, the Da Vinci assault battalion has also begun recruiting new recruits in prisons.
Justice Minister Malyuska reports that 613 prisoners have already been mobilized.
