The Udar party appealed to law enforcement agencies to severely punish a fraudster who tried to defraud entrepreneurs using the party's name and reputation. The party leadership called on law enforcement agencies to promptly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrator to justice for using illegal methods to gain profit.
This is reported by the party's website.
The party is outraged that the fraudster's actions have cast a shadow over other "Udarists.".
“The fraudster did not take into account that the 16.4-hectare land plot, which became the subject of the detainee’s fraud, was previously transferred by the decision of the Kyiv City Council to the park zone. Therefore, it cannot be used for any other purpose, leased or sold. At a time when our party members volunteer, fight, save, donate, and defend Ukraine on the front line and in the rear during the war, the foam of difficult times brings to the shore scammers who are ready to cross out the honest name of thousands of “Udar” members. There is no place for scammers among us,” Udar emphasized.
The statement also announced an internal investigation into the inclusion of this person in the party ranks.
“Lawyer Oleksandr Sukhanov is a resident of the Odessa region, whom the local regional organization of the party actually accepted into its ranks several months ago. The issue of the person undergoing an internal check will be considered by the central controlling bodies of the party. This person has already been expelled from the party, and the history of his inclusion in the party ranks will be checked in detail by the Odessa organization of “Udar”, ”the party’s statement states.
As a reminder, the SBU previously detained one of the leaders of the Udar party, Oleksandr Sukhanov, in Kyiv. He is suspected of extorting $1 million for resolving "land issues" in the Kyiv City State Administration.
