The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced ambitious plans for the development of the mobile application "Reserve +". In particular, this fall it is planned to introduce a number of new functions that will allow users to receive services of the TCC (territorial recruitment centers) online. This will include such services as online recruiting, registration of deferments and referrals to the military medical commission (VLK). This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko in an interview with UNN .
Online TCC: new opportunities for military personnel
Thanks to new features in the "Reserve+" application, conscripts and reservists will be able to significantly simplify the process of interaction with the CCC. According to Kateryna Chernogorenko, the ministry strives to ensure that all services provided offline in the CCC become available in digital format through "Reserve+".
"We are thinking about launching a voluntary referral to the VLK at the request of a person, so as not to go and get a piece of paper. We are thinking about launching online recruitment if a person wants to mobilize voluntarily, as well as a deferral for large families and students. In general, our idea is to make "Reserve+" an online TCC, so that all the services available in the TCC can be obtained through "Reserve+", - Chernogorenko noted.
Some of the new services are planned to be launched in the fall of 2024, while others will be implemented over time.
Fake apps and cybersecurity
It is worth noting that the development of "Reserve+" is not without its problems. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine discovered three fake web applications that tried to impersonate "Reserve+". All of these fakes were in the development stage and, fortunately, were detected and stopped in time.
The Ministry urges users to be careful and download the official app only from trusted sources.
History of "Reserve+"
Recall that the mobile application "Reserve+" was developed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and launched in May 2024. Its main goal is to ensure convenient interaction between conscripts, military conscripts and reservists with the CCC. The application provides the opportunity to update their credentials, receive an electronic military registration document, and now also check the status of the reservation from mobilization.
It is expected that with the introduction of new features in the fall, Reserve+ will become an even more useful tool for military personnel and civilians, helping them interact more effectively with the country's defense structures.
