The story of the multi-million loan that the wife of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshny, Lyudmila Pyshna, took out back in 2021, has once again caused public resonance. Pyshna received UAH 15 million from Uzhhorod businesswoman Larina Kotyk, but despite significant declared income, she has not yet repaid the debt.
According to official declarations, in 2022–2023, Lyudmila Pyshna earned over UAH 19 million. Despite this, the loan of UAH 15 million remained unpaid. At the same time, Pyshna herself provided a loan to her husband, the head of the NBU, Andriy Pyshny, in the amount of UAH 16.3 million. This raised questions about the real flow of funds in the family and the reasons for such financial decisions.
Larina Kotyk, who acted as Pyshna's creditor, is the owner of several companies founded in 2024:
JSC ZNVKIF "Nerio" with authorized capital of 82 million UAH
"Energy Store" LLC (electricity trade)
"Power Store" LLC (electricity trade)
Both energy companies were registered on the same day, and this drew attention to the rapid growth of Kotik's business activity.
Interestingly, on May 2, 2023, Kotyk took out a loan from Oschadbank secured by movable property — probably a car. It is worth noting that Oschadbank was headed by Andriy Pyshny for many years. This raises additional questions about a possible conflict of interests and the conditions for obtaining a loan.
The financial relationship between the Pyshny family and businesswoman Kotyk, as well as the parallels with the activities of the state bank, are of considerable public interest. In the context of new scandals surrounding those in power, this story may become a pretext for further investigations and inspections.
