The new United States administration has initiated an investigation into the activities of the public organization Anti-Corruption Center (ACC) . American officials intend to verify whether the organization was used to influence the judicial and law enforcement systems of Ukraine .
This is reported by Law and Business, citing its own sources. Also, according to media reports, initiatives are being discussed to impose US sanctions on the heads of the Central Criminal Procedure Code - Darya Kalenyuk and Vitaliy Shabunin.
“It turns out that Shabunin, Sherembeya, and Kaleniuk were financed by a criminal organization,” writes journalist Volodymyr Boyko, commenting on the words of the head of the new US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk, who said that USAID is a criminal organization.

This is how Musk responded to the resignation of two senior USAID officials who refused to give access to the agency's systems to DOGE representatives.
On January 25, the Trump administration suspended the work of USAID. In this regard, funding for many US foreign aid projects, including in Ukraine, was suspended for 90 days.
The CPC, among other public organizations, also received grants from USAID.
As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a number of criminal cases against Shabunin: in particular, about evasion of mobilization, forgery of NACP documents, illegal use of humanitarian aid, and misappropriation of a Nissan Pathfinder jeep.
