Next week in Ukraine will bring contrasting weather. During the weekdays, sunny and warm summer air will prevail, but closer to the weekend, in particular on Provoda, the temperature will drop and the country will be covered with rain.
Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported that on Monday, April 21, dry and sunny weather will prevail. The air temperature will reach +20…+24°C, only in Crimea and the Sea of Azov short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible. A real spring day is expected in Kyiv - up to +24°C and no precipitation.
However, weather forecasters predict a change in weather conditions by the weekend. According to Didenko, on Saturday, April 26, the temperature will drop to +14…+17°C, and in the south and east it will still hold at +22°C. On Sunday, April 27, which this year is the common date of Easter celebration for Christians of the Eastern and Western rites, the temperature will drop to +10…+16°C. Night frosts are possible in the western and northern regions.
Forecaster Ihor Kibalchych confirms: the week will start with abnormal heat due to the influence of an anticyclone and the influx of warm air masses. However, towards the end of the week, the situation will change due to the invasion of cold air from the north and the activation of the cyclone. As a result, rains of varying intensity will fall in many regions, and thermometers will noticeably drop.
So, Ukrainians should enjoy the warm days of the week, as the weather will be cooler and wetter on Easter. This may affect holiday plans, so an umbrella will not hurt on the weekend.
