At the Krakivets-Korchova checkpoint, customs officers discovered another scheme involving the illegal transportation of goods under the guise of humanitarian aid. According to the documents, the truck, which arrived from Poland, was supposed to contain clothes, toys, and auto parts for a charitable foundation from the Odessa region. However, during the inspection, a completely different content was revealed.
According to the State Customs Service, the cargo included fur products, safes, auto parts, toys, wigs, and even medical equipment. In particular, customs officers recorded the presence of a medical device for liposuction and sets of brushes for braces, which were not listed in the declaration at all.
At the same time, the Polish company, which was listed as the sender, actually acted as a forwarder, and the actual contents of the cargo differed significantly from the declared one.
The total value of the detected goods is almost 6 million hryvnias. The cargo was seized, and a report was drawn up on the fact of violation of customs rules.
