The Verkhovna Rada will receive additional funds for salaries from the Cabinet of Ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision on additional financing for the activities of the Verkhovna Rada. According to the order dated October 1, the parliament will receive over 143 million hryvnias, most of which will be used to pay salaries to employees.

The funds were transferred to the Department of the Verkhovna Rada's Office at the expense of the Ministry of Finance's expenditures included in the budget program "Ensuring the Institutional Capacity of State Authorities."

The received funding will be used under the program "Service and organizational, informational, analytical, material and technical support of the activities of the Verkhovna Rada."

The largest part of the funds — 120.21 million hryvnias — is intended for the salaries of parliament employees. The remaining amount will be spent on the organizational and technical needs of the Verkhovna Rada Apparatus.

Thus, the government has provided additional funding for parliament, which will allow it to cover salaries and current expenses in the second half of 2025.
