Tomorrow, the Verkhovna Rada will vote on a water tax. This was reported by People's Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel "Iron MP".
“Tomorrow, a bill will be submitted to the committee meeting on… introducing a tax on waters, including mineral and carbonated waters, with added sugar or other sweetening or flavoring substances,” he wrote.
This is especially interesting against the backdrop of record heat in Ukraine and constant power outages, when bottled water can be almost the only source of drinking water.
