Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has made a prediction about the end of the war in Ukraine. In an interview with the Magyar Nemzet , he said that the war will end in 2025. According to him, there are only two scenarios for the development of its events: either peace agreements will be reached, or one of the sides will suffer a complete defeat.
"Either it will end with peace negotiations, or one of the warring parties will be destroyed," he said in an interview with the Magyar Nemzet newspaper.
According to him, in 2025, "instead of the policy of war, the policy of peace years will return, and we will again have great economic successes.".
Previously, the IMF assumed that the war in Ukraine would end by the end of 2025. And in the worst case scenario, by mid-2026.
At the same time, Trump, who is friends with Orbán, speaks of the need to end the war as quickly as possible through negotiations. The new US president promised that he would do this immediately after his inauguration.
