On Thursday, December 18, the weather in Ukraine will remain warm for this time of year. In most regions, the thermometer will fluctuate within +4°…+7°, in the northeast it is expected to be slightly cooler — from +2° to +5°, and in the south of the country the air will warm up to +7°…+10°.
Almost no precipitation is forecast for the entire territory of Ukraine. Cloudy weather with clearings will prevail. The exception will be Transcarpathia and the Carpathians, where light rain is possible, and in mountainous areas - rain with wet snow.
In Kyiv, it will be cloudy with clearings during the day. The air temperature will drop to -2° at night, and around +4° is expected during the day.
In the western regions, the weather will also be relatively warm. In Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk, daytime temperatures are forecast to reach +7°, while at night the temperature will fluctuate around 0°. In Uzhhorod, cloudy weather with light rain is expected, at night +1°, during the day up to +5°.
In the central regions, the daytime air temperature will be +6°…+7°. In Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi and Poltava it will be cloudy with clearings, without significant precipitation. Night temperatures here will range from -1° to +2°.
The most comfortable weather will remain in the south of the country. In Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson, the air will warm up to +9°…+10° during the day, and the temperature will remain above zero at night. In Zaporizhia, up to +8° is expected during the day.
It will be somewhat cooler in the eastern and northeastern regions. In Kharkiv, Sumy, Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, cloudy weather is forecast, +4°…+5° during the day, and around 0° or a slight minus at night.
Forecasters note that overall weather conditions on December 18 will be favorable, without sharp temperature fluctuations and dangerous meteorological phenomena.
