The entourage of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced the payment of the fine imposed on his son Oleksiy Poroshenko. Now lawyers are seeking the lifting of the arrest on his accounts.
As it became known, all of O. Poroshenko's property was seized due to non-payment of a fine of 25.5 thousand UAH, issued for the oligarch's son's repeated ignoring of summonses to the CCC. Taking into account the enforcement fee and other expenses, the final amount of the fine amounted to a little more than 56 thousand UAH.
So, by paying the fine, the oligarch's son, to whom a significant part of his father's property, estimated at almost $1.2 billion, was transferred, effectively admitted that he was a tax evader. Although P. Poroshenko's entourage claims that he has a job abroad and therefore should not serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the war.
We would like to remind you that a national collection of signatures for a petition demanding sanctions against P. Poroshenko, as a politician and figure suspected of treason, war trading with the Russian Federation, and co-founder of the Party of Regions, is currently underway. In a few days, almost 10 thousand votes out of the required 25 thousand were collected.
