February in Ukraine will begin with noticeable frosts. On Saturday, February 1, in the afternoon almost throughout the country, the air temperature will drop to -10…-16 degrees. Slightly milder weather is expected in the south, and the warmest will be in the Transcarpathian region, where the thermometer will fluctuate from -5 to +1 degrees. Forecasters do not predict significant precipitation.
In western Ukraine, cloudy weather with clearings is expected. Despite the appearance of the sun, no significant warming is expected - during the day the temperature will remain within -10...-15 degrees. Transcarpathia will be an exception: here the air will warm up to +1 degree, which will make the region the warmest in the country.
Similar weather conditions are forecast in the northern regions. Sunny clearings are also possible here, but these regions will experience the strongest frosts - daytime temperatures will be -13...-16 degrees.
In eastern Ukraine, the day will be mostly cloudy and without precipitation. Only in the Kharkiv region are periodic clearings expected. The air temperature will range from -9 to -15 degrees.
In the central regions, the sun will shine in places, but the cold will persist. Forecasters predict -9...-15 degrees in the afternoon.
In southern Ukraine, the weather will be cloudy, with air temperatures from -5 to -8 degrees. In Crimea, slightly milder weather is expected - from -2 to -4 degrees.
