The air temperature in Ukraine will drop significantly in the coming days. The cold snap is expected to begin on Saturday, April 26, and will last for at least several days. Along with the cold, short-term rains and thunderstorms will come in places.
This was reported by the weather forecaster of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, Natalia Ptukha, in a commentary on Channel 24.
According to her, unstable weather is expected until the end of the week. As early as Wednesday, April 24, rains will fall in the western and northern regions, and from April 25 to 27 - in most of the country.
"We expect a decrease in temperature on April 26-27. Currently, we are under the influence of warm southern air masses, but from the 26th the situation will change - air flows will come from the northwest," explained Ptukha.
As the weather forecaster specifies, on Wednesday and Thursday the daytime temperature will reach +20…+26 degrees, but starting on Saturday the temperature will drop by 5–10 degrees.
Thus, in most regions, during the daytime, thermometers will show +10…+15 degrees.
What else is known:
-
thunderstorms are possible in a number of regions, especially in the central part;
-
in the south and east, the cold snap will come with a delay of one day;
-
Already on April 27, the air temperature will be much lower than the average for this period.
Forecasters urge people not to ignore forecasts and to prepare for sudden changes in weather - especially on the eve of the end of April.
