Ukraine is developing comprehensive solutions to reduce conflicts around territorial recruitment centers and the problem of unauthorized abandonment of units. This was stated by Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, from the Servant of the People faction.
According to him, the issue of mobilization is currently among the key priorities of the state. It has been repeatedly raised at the highest level, in particular with the participation of the President of Ukraine and the new Minister of Defense. The goal is to change approaches to mobilization processes and reduce social tension arising from the activities of the CCK.
Venislavsky noted that closed sessions of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense have already discussed ways out of crisis situations. This includes not only the work of territorial recruitment centers, but also the settlement of issues related to the unauthorized abandonment of units and the subsequent return of servicemen to service.
He also emphasized that the Minister of Defense is directly involved in the process of implementing changes. A unified approach is being formed that should cover mobilization in general — from communication with citizens to practical decisions regarding the staffing of combat units.
The MP also reported that a decision on a postponement for contract workers aged 18 to 25 who have already served their term is expected next week.
At the same time, the military command emphasizes that servicemen who return after abandoning their unit are sent primarily to units in the most difficult and dangerous areas of the front. This approach, according to the command, allows for rapid reinforcement of combat capabilities where it is critically needed.
At the same time, the Armed Forces note that the mass return of military personnel from the North-Eastern Front could significantly change the situation on the battlefield. According to commanders, if a significant number of such fighters return, the Ukrainian army would have the opportunity to both attack more actively and more effectively deter the enemy.
