The most popular vacancy in the Armed Forces was named

Today, the most popular vacancies in the recruiting centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators. Oleksiy Bezhevets, the authorized officer of the Ministry of Defense for recruiting, told about this.

According to him, the demand for UAV operators remains stably high, and vacancies for maintenance of military equipment and weapons are also relevant. "We monitor this dynamic every week. There are surges in one direction or another. Traditionally, UAV operators, positions related to the maintenance of military equipment, staff positions, and logistics are popular," Bezhevets said.

He emphasized that the Armed Forces need volunteers, especially those who can maintain military equipment and various types of weapons, i.e. shooting positions and operators. "More than 6,500 Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the opportunity to join the Defense Forces through recruiting centers," he added.

There are currently 39 recruiting centers in Ukraine. Bezhevets specified that the period of employment under mobilization lasts only a few days, and under the contract - a little longer due to the need to collect a larger number of documents.

Recently, recruiting in the Armed Forces has undergone changes. On September 17, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 12023, which provides for the creation of the Center for Recruiting Foreigners. This step will allow foreigners and stateless persons to undergo military service in the Armed Forces.

Thanks to these initiatives and new opportunities, the recruitment process in the Armed Forces continues to improve, in particular in the direction of attracting qualified specialists necessary for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
