The situation on the front remains tense, with an increasing number of clashes between the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and Russian invaders. Since the beginning of the current day, 64 clashes have been recorded, indicating intensive fighting and active defense by the Ukrainian military.
This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4. Terrorist troops continue to shell the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions from their positions.
Thus, an artillery strike was carried out from Novi Yurkovichi (Russia) on Khrinivka, from Novaya Pogoscha (Russia) on Staraya Huta, from Zernovoye (Russia) on Khliborob, from Gurovka (Russia) on Mikhalchyna Sloboda.
The Kharkiv region is again under attack by the aggressor. In particular, three air strikes were carried out from the direction of Shebekino (Russia) on Vovchansk, with the occupiers using seven guided aerial bombs. The enemy attacked Okip and Veterinarne with MI-8 helicopters, using 10 NARs per settlement. In total, three clashes have taken place in this direction since the beginning of the day without success for the enemy.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian occupiers have become a little more active and are using aviation. Our defenders managed to repel eight enemy assaults. Three more combat clashes are ongoing near Stelmakhivka and Berestovoye. The defense forces are successfully repelling enemy attacks.
In the Kramatorsk direction, fighting continues in the Andriyivka area. At the same time, the city of Sloviansk was hit by a missile strike. The village of Druzhba (16 unguided aircraft missiles were used) and the village of Pivnichne (10 missiles) were also hit.
