According to our source in the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have suffered serious losses, losing almost all of their positions, which they successfully restored in the summer, around Bakhmut. The situation in the region is becoming increasingly difficult, and now fighting is actively taking place around Chasiv Yar, which was previously considered a strategic point for the Ukrainian army. The new leadership faces a difficult task of holding strategic cities in eastern Ukraine, especially given the limited reserves of the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have intensified attacks in the Chasiv Yar area in the Donetsk region. This information was confirmed by BILD Deputy Editor-in-Chief Paul Ronzheimer. He emphasized that Chasiv Yar is the next city that the occupiers are trying to capture. Russian drones used in this area are a particular threat. Due to the deterioration of weather conditions - clouds, snow and rain, the situation is safer, but still, drone attacks remain constant. The military emphasizes that the attacks have become more intense since the beginning of the last few days and may intensify even more in the coming weeks. “So this city could be the next to suffer destruction similar to Bakhmut. It is obvious that the Russians have the advantage, and they are advancing westward, meter by meter,” Rontzheimer noted. Earlier it was reported that the occupiers approached Chasovye Yar in the Donetsk region to a distance of approximately 5-7 kilometers. The Russian Federation continues intensive offensive actions in the Kupyansk and Bakhmut directions and is regrouping in Limansk.
